Failure, crash, error
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but are you having trouble using the shooter in Infinite Watcher? You may encounter errors, malfunctions or crashes. Here we offer you suggested solutions.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare not only offers single-player campaigns, but, as fans of the series know, it also offers multiplayer games.
Regardless of which mode you choose, action games can be problematic. Are you unable to complete the task due to an error? Are there any crashes or other annoying glitches? Maybe you can't even start or download the game. Perhaps the CoD server is also affected by the failure.
Problems connecting online
You are unable to log in or have problems in online mode.
There may be several reasons for this. As a result, your internet provider may have problems. Check the status of the router and provider server. If everything works, Activision may have server issues, so there are currently connectivity issues. Check out our Call of Duty Modern War calling service. If you are playing on a PlayStation, you should probably also check the PS4 NAT settings.
Crash and freeze
The game crashes or the picture freezes.
If the application is completely closed, the console will restart and check for updates to the operating system and games. If necessary, install the patch and try again. Also make sure your platform does not overheat. Provide enough air in all directions and remove dust, dirt or other obstacles from the ventilation slots.
PC version won't start
Netzwelt readers report that even if it meets PC system requirements, it cannot accept CPUs. The game cannot be started.
Check if you have the latest drivers, Windows updates and "Call of Duty" patches installed for your hardware. Also try using Blizzard's "Scan and Repair" option to resolve the issue. Still not working? Activate ASLR under Windows and write the mobile portal gottabemobile.com. You can also disable NZXT CAM, MSI Afterburner or Razer Cortex, otherwise the game may not start.
Cancel the cross-play function
You no longer want to play against and against players on all platforms in the game.
Do n’t you want to play with players on other platforms, but only with users on the same device? Fortunately, Activision can tell you how to disable Crossplay on the official website. Just go to the "Options" menu and navigate to the "Accounts" tab. Here you will find a button to disable cross-play.
Unrecognized mouse command
Your mouse command is not recognized.
Activision recommends closing the Xbox Game Bar. Close the game at the same time, press the Windows key and the G key at the same time, and allow the window to open completely. Press the Windows key and G key again, then restart the game.
Reward code cannot be redeemed
You cannot redeem reward codes in CoD-Modern Warfare. Instead, an error message appears on the screen.
According to the corresponding error message, Activision names various solutions on the official website. If the display code is invalid, check that the code was entered correctly. If the error message "Code has been redeemed" appears, you should have activated the corresponding game content in your game with the new code. If the information you received has reached the maximum limit, the relevant bonus content has been activated with another code. However, in all three cases, the following applies: If you determine that the error displayed is incorrect, you can contact Activision yourself. The developer will then investigate your issue.
annoying
Lagging can affect a smooth gaming experience.
If you are playing via WiFi, try a wired internet connection. Online may be more stable. If your controller is not working properly, it may have a rubber band-like effect. So try using another gamepad.
Developer Error 6065/6066/6068
You receive the error message "Dev Error 6065/6066/6068" on your PC.
Activision writes articles, especially with cutscenes in campaigns. Try to run the game to the maximum in standard graphics settings or VRAM.
Your data is "corrupted"
You receive a message on PS4 and Xbox One that if you are creating a custom game, the data is corrupted or unusable.
Activision has announced that it is developing a solution.
"No GPU Support" Message
You meet the PC system requirements but still receive a message that the GPU is not supported.
According to netzwelt reader Patrick Richter, this may be because you started the game with internal graphics units. He solved the problem by disabling the internal GPU. Alternatively, you can try right-clicking the game shortcut first and selecting "Run with graphics card". If you have a Nvidia graphics card, you can call the Nvidia system settings and directly specify to start the game with the graphics card.
RTX cannot be activated
You cannot activate RTX [Ray Tracing] for CoD-Modern Warfare for PC.
First, according to Activision, you should make sure that your Windows version and graphics card are up to date. If the corresponding updates are missing, you should run them and check again if you can activate RTX. The problem should usually be resolved. However, keep in mind that your computer must meet the minimum requirements for the Archer PC version for Ray Tracing to work properly.
Don't forget that Activision and Infinity Ward are not necessarily responsible for online issues. Your internet provider may experience downtime or PSN outages. Perhaps Microsoft's Xbox Live has also been hit.
