Sony at CES 2021: what announcements can be expected?

The 2021 edition of CES officially starts today, but some manufacturers have already unveiled some of their novelties. This is particularly the case with Sony, which last week unveiled its new Bravia TV models, equipped with a new “XR” processor that uses artificial intelligence to improve picture quality. Whether in OLED or LCD, these televisions should benefit from the brand’s latest advances in image processing.

But that’s not all and Sony still has a few things to show us: Indeed, the Japanese company will host a conference tonight at 11pm devoted to many new features.

We can count on the presence of Kenichiro Yoshida, President of Sony Corporation, as well as several speakers from Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment and Sony Interactive Entertainment. So it will be a question of music, cinema, but also video games.. Traditionally, “PlayStation” announcements have been rare at CES, but it could be that the brand is evoking part of the future of PlayStation 5, or at least its ecosystem.

Sony could also showcase various innovations in audio and mobility. Why not new headphones and earphones with active noise cancellation, connected speakers and one or more smartphones from the Xperia range?
