ININ Games has just announced that the western version of Cotton Reboot will be released on July 20th on the European Nintendo Switch and PS4 (as well as North America and Australia).
Although the title says “restart,” Cotton Reboot is actually a remastered version of the original game. Here the graphics in the seven levels have been completely revised in HD and “handmade”. The track’s soundtrack has been reshuffled.
In terms of game modes, Cotton Reboot allows you to play first Cotton: Fantastic night dreams in the original X68000 mode. In addition to the latter, players can also use the Arrange mode, which benefits from the elements mentioned above and enables them to play in 16: 9 format. Finally, the Score Attack mode gives players the opportunity to score as many points as possible in timed games (2 and 5 minutes).
