This is a rocky road Square Enix with People can fly, But can be cross-played Outlander It will eventually work as expected on all platforms.
Although “People Can Fly” launched the latest update of the game on Friday (April 9), the game was still not fully functional during the weekend.
PC, PS4 and PS5 players have been able to play each other in the last few days, but starting today (April 12), the Xbox server can also work normally, and cross-play is now fully operational again.
Outriders official stated last week: “We have delayed the Xbox version of this patch, but the Xbox team has provided incredible support in helping us get ready as soon as possible.”[…] After the Xbox patch is released, cross-play between the console and PC will be fully restored. “The Twitter post concluded.
The 600MB patch is now available on the Xbox console and can be cross-played.
“We will continue to monitor performance and feedback,” Outriders Continue to say on their Twitter account. “After this update, we will provide news on further steps as soon as possible.”
If you are affected by the unsatisfactory release of the game, you can at least get some rewards: all players who have played between March 31 and April 11 are eligible for the value-added package. Players who suffer inventory wipes can also be rewarded.
Recently, PC players noticed that the game can create a huge dump of crash files (up to 22GB!) without checking its platform.
Of course, all of the above issues are annoying, but if you can ignore them and really make the game work, then Outriders may be a very interesting game.
