Game news Cyberpunk 2077 has exceeded 1 million players simultaneously connected via Steam
Cyberpunk 2077 started yesterday evening at 1 a.m. and is already setting a record: that of the single-player game with the largest number of players connected via Steam at the same time.
With a climax at 1,003,264 players Cyberpunk 2077, which is also connected on the Valve platform, beats the record of Fallout 4, which had collected 472,962 players when it launched in November 2015. When considering multiplayer games, only three titles performed better: PUBG (3,236,027 in January 2018), Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (1,305,714 in April 2020) and Dota 2 (1,291,328 in March 2016).
Since CD Projekt’s RPG is also available on GOG, Epic Games Store, consoles, and stadiums, the actual number of players entering Night City is obviously even higher. The title also reached a million concurrent viewers Pull out.
