Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 planned for February 2021 will come later. CD Projekt RED announced this today via Twitter.
The big patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 announced for February has been postponed by CD Projekt RED. The developers just shared that in a three-part Tweet With. CDPR cites the hacker attack that threw back the company’s IT infrastructure as the reason for the delay in the patch.
While we dearly wanted to deliver Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 in the timespan we detailed previously, the recent cyber attack on the studio’s IT infrastructure and extensive scope of the update mean this unfortunately will not happen — we’ll need some additional time. 1/3

According to the development team, more time is currently needed to finalize the patch and compensate for the hack on IT last month. The goal is to go further with Patch 1.2 than with the previous updates. To this end, they are currently working on various improvements to the quality of the game and on some fixes.
This also results in the new goal of the developers: In the second half of March, the patch 1.2 should then be fully deployed. According to the CDPR team on Twitter, one is aware that this type of news is unpleasant. But you want to be sure that you can deliver such a large update well. More information about the patch will follow in the near future.
