As one of the most anticipated games on the PC, Death Stranding is expected to use Denuvo.
Since the PC version of Dead Strand has been released, the game's store pages on the Steam and Epic Games Store have been updated with new information.
Death Stranding's Steam page confirms that the game uses the infamous anti-tampering DRM. This is not particularly surprising; most large games released these days use the Denuvo version to delay inevitable cracking and take advantage of early sales.
Generally, Denuvo is removed once the game is cracked or the publisher believes that DRM has achieved its goal. For example, Capcom is known for adding Denuvo to the distribution, but is back again a few months later.
"Dead Strand" will launch on PC on June 2.
