Doom Eternal broke the franchise record for weekend operations.

According to Bethesda, Eternal doom Sales figures for the opening weekend doubled the revenue from Doom 2016 releases. No sales figures provided.

The game is also the best-selling game of the week, with more than 100,000 concurrent players on the platform. This is more than double the 2016 peak of Doom 44271.

Critics are also satisfied.

Doom Eternal is released on Friday, March 20, and is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The Switch version is under development and will be released later this year.
