In many programs and services such as Windows 10, Google and Wikipedia hide digital Easter eggs, so-called “Easter Eggs“. These are functions and secrets hidden by developers.

In the course of its company history, Google has hidden numerous Easter Eggs in its search engine, Google Maps and other services. These range from a walk-in tardis to a jumping dinosaur and other mini-games that you can play in the browser.

You can now find many Google Easter Eggs below. Either click on the link or simply enter the relevant keywords in the Google search and see what happens. You will be surprised what Goolge came up with.

Google’s running dinosaur, the Tardis on maps and more

In 2014, the design developers of the Chrome browser introduced a fun Easter egg. Users don’t like to see the little dinosaur in Chrome because it shows that there is currently no internet connection. If you then press the space bar, it suddenly starts running and you have to jump over obstacles with further inputs. A fun pastime until the internet works again.

By the way, if you’ve ever wanted to know what certain animals sound like, all you have to do is look for them. Just something like “How does a giraffe sound?“Enter” in the Google search and then click on the small loudspeaker symbol. Google has already made around 65 animals available as soundtracks. By the way, you can place the animals directly in the living room.

Windows and the history of its Easter eggs

After around 25 years An Easter Egg was discovered for Windows 95 in 2021, which lists the programmers of the then integrated mail client.
