It will be almost two months before you can have Final Fantasy VII remake on PS4 in your hands. However, you can already prepare to free up some space.

Even though the release of the game on PS4 is not due until April 10, 2020, the packaging images seem to have already been printed – and a corresponding image has already been leaked online. This is particularly interesting because it clarifies some technical details such as the memory requirement – and that is immense.
If you want to install Final Fantasy VII Remake on your PS4, you will need around 100 GB of space on your console. This space requirement is, of course, only for part of the complete story of Final Fantasy VII and should therefore pose a small challenge for one or the other player.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will be delivered on two Blu-ray discs; that was already known, but has now been confirmed again on the basis of the packaging. Incidentally, the leak was the Korean version of the box type.
The download size of the digital version should be a little smaller because the information on the packaging of physical versions usually mentions the installation size; however, if you buy the digital version, you should also prepare for a correspondingly large download.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released on April 10, 2020 and will be available on the Sony console for a period of one year.
