Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem has been quiet since the action RPG was released earlier this year. Now the developers at Wolcen Studios announced the first major content update, which goes under the name Chronicle 1: Bloodtrail is published.
Wolcen starts in the first season
The developers shared the news on their official Steam page
One of the biggest changes will happen to Wolcen with the new one Legacy game mode. Old characters that you created before the First Chronicle was released will be moved to a separate mode called Legacy.
Affected characters cannot be interacted or traded with, but you have the option of interacting or trading with other Legacy characters.
Chronicle 1: Bloodtrail is clearly the first season, which the developers already announced in their roadmap for 2020:

A similar gameplay mechanic also works in other action RPGs such as Diablo 3 or Path of Exile, which allows you to start the game at the beginning and get new rewards. The name of the Wolcen update suggests that more chronicles will follow. When the first season starts and how long it will run has not yet been determined – with the competition it takes about three months.
Wolcen got off to a bumpy start and struggled with some problems. In the announcement, the developers declare that they have taken the feedback from the community and are continuously working on improvements based on this.
