Ghost of Tsushima: On PS5: Higher frame rate thanks to the Game Boost feature

The PlayStation 5 from Sony will be backwards compatible and support available PS4 titles to a large extent. Ghost of Tsushima is one of them – and this one will be optimized accordingly on the PS5.

Thanks to the backward compatibility of the PlayStation 5, the PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima will also be playable on the new Sony

console. There the good piece will then make use of the game boost feature, as has now been confirmed.

Thanks to the feature, Ghost of Tsushima will now run on the PlayStation 5 at up to 60 frames per second, so it has a noticeably better frame rate. In addition, the loading times should also be significantly reduced.

Ghost of Tsushima will be one of around 4,000 PS4

games that will be playable on the PS5 from the day of launch. Saves can also be transferred from the PS4 to the new hardware, so that in case of doubt you don't have to start a completely new game.

In the run-up to the console launch, there will be the new Legends update for the title in the coming week from October 16. This update is accompanied by version 1.1 and new features. Among other things, you can look forward to a co-op multiplayer mode that is inspired by Japanese mythology. In addition, the popular New Game + mode for the single player campaign is on board and more.

Ghost of Tsushima will receive an extensive, free update to version 1.1 on October 16, which introduces the online multiplayer mode called Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, a “New Game +” mode with numerous new features such as the ghost flowers and other minor improvements will.
