It seems that 343 Industries must dispel such rumors every two weeks.
Earlier this week, a non-rumor started because someone noticed Chad Mirshak’s LinkedIn page Halo infinite UI designers no longer list Xbox One games, only PC and Xbox Series X/S.
LinkedIn posts are usually not a good source of information because they may be outdated, but interestingly, Mirshak’s About page actually states that the game was developed for Xbox One along with other platforms. (Since then, Mirshak has added Xbox One to the experience section).
However, “discovery” restored the previous rumors that Halo Infinite has been cancelled by Xbox One, which was denied by 343 many times. There is no doubt that someone brings new information to developers again.
John Junyszek of Halo Community Manager 343 answered this question with a positive number. Please let me enjoy the holiday,” Junyszek Reply on Twitter.
Obviously, Microsoft can still release and confirm that the Xbox One version has been deleted later, but this is unlikely to happen now. Halo Infinite is scheduled to be released in the second half of next year, so in the next few months, the situation will undoubtedly become clearer.
