Popular Indie Game Week on February 17
Send us the moon
Last year, the amazing story-based adventure "Save Our Moon" was well received on a PC. The console was not available at the time, but it will be available soon.
Developer Keoken announced this week that the game will be available on PS4 and Xbox One on April 24, and the Nintendo Switch will launch this summer.
"The Moon for Us" is a short narrative of the last astronaut of mankind, sent to space to find out why the only energy source on the planet was turned off. This is a story about the connection between people, space exploration and enjoying what we have in the face of inevitable doom.
If you have a PC version and a GPU with ray tracing, then you should revisit the game recently. Ray-traced reflections make exploring the abandoned space station more atmospheric enough to start another clearance.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker
Hardspace: Shipbreaker is the Focus Home last year with Blackbird Interactive. Shipbreaker is essentially a physics-based salvage game where you will be brought on a laser cutter to tear off the debris from these large ships.
If the name sounds familiar, it's because Blackbird has actually used a similar name before. Hardware: Before allowing developers to use the Homeworld brand name, Shipbreakers was the studio's name for the Homeworld spiritual successor that was being developed at the time.
The project later became Homeworld: The Desert of Kharak, but you can certainly see some shared designs between it and the new Shipbreaker. Shipbreaker's first game trailer hints at the need to tactically dismantle the target ship, as removing the wrong component can have disastrous consequences.
Shipbreaker will take the first act of the story this summer, with two types of spaceships and upgradeable rescue tools entering Steam Early Access. If you are in the city, the recording studio will also be held next week at PAX East.
Half of destiny
"Half of Destiny" is a new game launched by Serenity Forge, the developer of "Bird of the King", and his charming art shines again in this isometric adventure.
"Half Destiny" depicts the stories of six different people who were intertwined over eight years. Although you will solve occasional problems with point and click, most of your life is driven by dialogue.
When you unravel the hum an story, it looks like something to relax and relax, thanks in large part to the game's presentation. "Half of Destiny" will land on Steam and Nintendo Switch on March 12.
Games to play this weekend
Hell point
Hellpoint is an action RPG of Soul Meets Dead Space, only a few months after its release. To market the concept to you, the developer Cradle Games used a strategy that persuaded players to support it on Kickstarter three years ago: a playable demo was released.
This free demo is basically the same area that was first shown in 2017, as developers want to highlight the differences that come from three years of work. The story of this particular chapter is actually called "The Legend of Hell: Thespian Feast", and the story takes place 50 years after the event in the main game. You can experience the same area throughout the game, even in different situations.
Thespian Feast is a fully functional area with its own enemies and boss battles, so Hellpoint's mechanics should be well demonstrated. With split-screen support, you can also take friends with you. Thespian Feast is now available for download on Steam at a very reasonable 1.7GB download.
Hellpoint will launch on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch on April 16.
Kingdom in Fire 2
Kingdom Under Fire 2 was recently released for the first time on the PC in the West, and it has been 10 years since its first release. Years of development woes, changing platforms and priorities eventually culminated in the Steam release last November.
Kingdom Under Fire 2 is a large game that combines the outstanding gameplay of RPG and RTS to bring you a unique experience. You can tactically command a large AI army to stand in the front line for third-person battle.
Time's Grave Update was released earlier th is week, and to celebrate, developer Blueside allowed the game to be open for free until Monday, February 24. The free weekend allows you to use all five heroes in PvE and PvP battles.
If you end up falling in love with it, you can sell it at% 50 until February 26th. Just head to Steam to make the most of all of them.
Corruption 2029
Corruption in 2029 seems to be everywhere. Developer Bearded Ladies decided to announce the industry trend of releasing the game prematurely, but released the game a few days before the release.
Similar to 2000: The Road to Eden, Corruption 2029 is a turn-based tactical game with a poor background and you can command three heroes. Unfortunately, no hell of a duck this time.
In general, the tasks in Anti-Corruption 2029 are similar to zero mutation years. You start in stealth, then explore the world freely and decide when to fight your enemies. After finding you, the two sides take turns moving their troops.
As with Road to Eden, you will rely on the cover and unique abilities of the three heroes in your campaign.
Corruption 2029 is only available on a PC at the Epic Store for a reasonable price of $ 20.
Hunting: Showdown
Yes, we will again recommend Crytek's single shooter. The game is only available on PS4 and is already available on PC and Xbox One. Jim Rossignol shares many reasons why you should use it in our five-star review.
But let's review it again. Hunt Showdown is one of the rare gems that draws inspiration from numerous games and genres, and somehow transforms it into something different.
It's a punitive shooter, and his pace makes PUBG look like Quake. A PvE, the survival horror of hunting monsters is even more terrifying than the horror brought by Resident Evil. This is a multiplayer game where you will constantly guess your decision enough to completely avoid other players.
But most importantly, this is an experience you can't find anywhere else. This year, it will also enable PvE-only mode, so be sure to check it out. Until March 2, you can enjoy a 40% discount on Steam.
