Hitman 3 received mostly excellent reviews and got off to a good start in the past week. Nevertheless, the makers of course continue to work on the action game – and apparently have a certain feature for Xbox Series X / S in mind.
IO Interactive should be mostly satisfied with the start of the new Hitman 3. The responsible development team does not want to rest, after all, people have always spoken of a “live game” that is regularly improved and expanded. According to the creators, the publication on January 20th was “just the beginning of a journey”.
The owners of the game version for Xbox Series X / S apparently have the first subsequent improvement in mind, who should therefore be particularly pleased. Specifically, IO Interactive would like to deliver the Ray-Tracing technology feature, as has now been confirmed.
“We will continue to work on the game and add new features,” said CTO Maurizio de Pascale in a statement. “It’s great that the Xbox Series X / S GPU now has hardware support for ray tracing. We have already started working on ray tracing technology for the renderer in our Glacier engine and as soon as it is is ready, we will definitely bring this to the Xbox Series X / S. “
Hitman 3 has already made an excellent impression in the press. Our Hitman 3 review also speaks of a “worthy trilogy finale”. The fun of the game can only get better with further optimizations.
