Game news Horizon 2: The exclusive PS5, PS4, will take your breath away for 14 minutes of gaming fun
After long hours of waiting in front of wonderful panoramas, the long-awaited State of Play has arrived! And as promised, we are entitled to 14 long minutes of gameplay for Horizon: Forbidden West, the next big Sony exclusive program for PlayStation 4, but also for PlayStation 5. Of course, that’s not all. This state of affairs also took the opportunity to come up with a few small surprises.
Aloy, more agile than ever and a much larger bestiary
As you can see, check out the Horizon: Forbidden West gameplay footage captured on PlayStation 5. Aloy, the heroine with long, flamboyant hair, has gained significantly in flexibility since her first outing. The latter can now move around more easily with their grappling hook or float in the air with a strange sign. two items that will help us escape the many hostile animals that shape this world. Yes, in addition to the peaceful flesh and blood animals, the game’s robot bestiary has evolved with this second work. Aloy will therefore be able to encounter creatures ridden by unscrupulous bandits, but also larger robotic dinosaurs, including sea monsters, that will do brief work with you.
Fortunately, in Horizon: Forbidden West, the player can defend or set traps with an even more complete arsenal than before. Therefore, in addition to her bow with electric arrows or explosive arrows, the young woman will also be equipped with a glue launcher, for example to slow down the enemy. Our heroine has also improved in hand-to-hand combat, which already promises a much more dynamic exchange with human opponents.
Environments to die for
As previously announced, Horizon: Forbidden West is offering players a small tour of the US West Coast to cross three states on foot or on the back of a robot mount: California, Utah and Nevada. It will therefore be an opportunity for gamers to discover many breathtaking environments. Unfortunately, these were not presented to us in detail, but several panoramas were revealed nonetheless. Just like in the first episode, we are therefore entitled to a variety of different biomes, ranging from the lush jungle to the arid desert, snow-covered areas or even the relaxing and colorful coastline. From this area you can freely explore beautiful aquatic environments full of danger.
A release date for the Sony Juggernaut?
How long do we have to wait to get our hands on the great future creation of guerrilla games? Unfortunately, the studio has not let any information slip on this page. We therefore have to be satisfied with a wave “second half of 2021” again. As a reminder, Horizon: Forbidden West will be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
