News hardware Intel: Presentation of the new 11th generation processors!

Intel processors in detail

This new family of processors is designed to offer gamers a high frame rate but also low latency. It starts with the Core i5 with 6 cores and 12 threads. The Core i9 has 8 cores and 16 threads. Obviously, the difference between the Core i5 and the Core i9 lies in the frequency and thermal speed.

A bit more information on the Core i9: this processor has a base frequency of 3.5 GHz, a turbo of 5.3 GHz in Thermal Velocity Boost mode, and a frequency of 4.8 GHz if we all prefer hearts.

The Thermal Velocity Boost system allows additional MHz (MegaHertz) to be added when the processor drops below a certain temperature in turbo mode. Only the i9-11900T does not have this small specificity.
