Rebirth Has announced plans to adjust the capabilities of one of them Apex LegendThe original hero, lifeline, In an upcoming update.
In an AMA on Reddit, developers from Respawn asked the community to provide some feedback on the lifeline of one of the game’s original support heroes.
During the AMA, a Reddit user named CSKaay asked: “How to deal with Lifeline’s toolkit?” In the next round of updates and balance changes in the upcoming game. Lifeline is the only combat doctor in the game, so – at this point, more or less appear in every team. As a result, Respawn seemed to want her to hate it.
It seems that Respawn wants to change the passive ability of Lifeline, Combat Revive. When a player falls into Apex Legends, teammates usually have to pick them up consciously-during the animation, both teammates are open and vulnerable to incoming abilities or gunfire.
Lifeline has a mobile DOC drone, and because Lifeline is still fully mobile, it can drop its shield and begin the process of rejuvenation-it turns out that this is a threat, or it has taken the lead in adopting defensive tactics.
Therefore, John Larson, the dynamic balance designer of Apex Legend, suggested that Lifeline’s revival shield should be completely removed. DOC will still be able to recover allies that have been knocked down, but there will no longer be a protective shield to protect them from the fire.
Is there any upside? Larson also pointed out that by increasing Lifeline’s tactical healing speed by “60%” and polishing the care package to “guarante upgrade”, the nerd can be balanced, which allows her ultimate version to survive again in the late game.
Then, this is an interesting proposition: delete a key mm head of the character in order to better balance another ability.
Recently, we saw a data miner suggesting that “Titan” be on the “Apex Legends” with new characters in the ninth season of the game, which also coincides with some comments from the Respawn core team.
We only hope that the clumsy mech will not be distracted from the shiny new version of Lifeline, in case these changes happen.
