If you want to level up your Battle Pass in CoD: Modern Warfare and Warzone, you'd better keep the coming weekend free. From Friday – incidentally a public holiday – an event starts that you double experience and double Battle Pass progress gives. There's also a playlist update – Shoot the Ship is coming back.
When does the Grind weekend start? It starts on Friday, May 1st at 7 p.m. and runs until May 4th at 7 p.m.
What is Shoot the Ship?
The update of the multiplayer playlist brings back two fan favorites during the promotion. Shoot the Ship contains Shoot House and Shipment and promises fast gameplay, chaos and lots of fun. In combination with the double XP event next weekend you can here grind perfectlyto level up your Battle Pass.
- Shoot house is a small 6vs6 map with three lanes. You can find tips, an overview of all important points and a detailed description in the Activision blog on the map.
- Shipment was the smallest map in the entire CoD history before the Gunfight mode was released. Because of their compactness, multiplayer matches are particularly fast and action-packed here, there is not much space to avoid them. Activision also offers tips for shipment.
Players want more and more shipments all the time – but why actually?

Why do CoD fans love the worst map?
But don't worry if you can't do much with Shoot the Ship. The XP action applies of course to all playlists from Modern Warfare and the Battle Royale Warzone. So you can choose where you want to use the boosts.
Even more innovations for CoD: Modern Warfare and Warzone: Especially veterans of the series should be happy about the return of the classic MG M249 SAW. In Warzone, thanks to the new "Most Wanted" order, you can take on a high-risk but very rewarding maneuver.
