Madden NFL 21 will have its Xbox Series X upgrade, but no Smart Delivery




An event held by an American firm for an American console would not have been complete without the announcement of an American football game.

Patrick Mahomes, quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, MVP of the last Super Bowl and star of the cover of Madden NFL 20, was sitting quietly on his sofa to talk about the future of the EA Sports license.

This will be called Madden NFL 21 and will obviously pass by the next generation of consoles and therefore the Xbox Series X

. The news of the day, which will still cringe a few teeth, is that it will be possible for players who bought the Xbox One version to enjoy an optimized version of Xbox One Series X without having to go through the checkout.

Unfortunately, this is not a Smart Delivery title and the offer to benefit from it will be limited in time, with certain conditions. You must have purchased Madden NFL 21 on Xbox One with December 31, 2020 and pass the Xbox Series X before March 31, 2021. Still better than nothing, that said.

Madden NFL 21 should say a little more, especially on other media and its release date on June 12 from 1:00 am during EA Play Live.


I started playing Xbox a lot thanks to Call of Duty online. Since then I haven't stopped playing competitive online.
