If some video games are adapted from manga or comics and vice versa, combining the two allows you to immerse yourself a little more in the universe that these two media offer. Between Persona 5, Life is Strange or the author’s new production of Bleach, here is a selection of what not to miss in February 2021.
The new manga releases for February 2021
Search & Destroy Vol.1
Search is a manga written and drawn by Atsushi Kaneko. It takes up the story of the manga Dororo, written by Osamu Tezuka The original work tells the story of Doro, an orphan. He will accompany Hyakkimaru, a teenager whose body is made of prostheses. Its 48 members were sacrificed to demons by a father in search of power. Hyakkimaru will therefore explore Japan in order to regain the missing body parts.

War of the Worlds Vol. 1
war of the Worlds is a manga written by Sai Ihara and drawn by Hitotsu Yokoshima. It is an adaptation of the famous novel war of the Worlds by HG Wells. At the beginning of the 20th century, scientists discovered abnormal activity on the planet Mars. A few days later, a spaceship crashes from the Red Planet in Maryland, a small town in England. The residents’ excitement will turn into fear: an alien piloting a tripod will sow destruction along the way. He is accompanied by thousands of other Martians.

Burn The Witch Vol.1
Burn The Witch is a manga written and drawn by ‘Tito Kube (bleaching‘). It was originally published in 2018 in the Shônen Jump celebrates the 50th anniversary of the magazine. Several categories of people coexist in London. Dragons, invisible creatures in the eyes of ordinary people, responsible for the growing death of the population. Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole are part of the third: they are witches who can see dragons and are responsible for enforcing peace between the two species.

Person 5 Vol. 6
Person 5 is a manga adaptation of JRPG Persona 5. Akira Kurusu is a teenager who is forced to move and has to change high schools. Outraged by the vice of individuals, he and his friends form phantom thieves. When the palaces represent the wildest dreams of adults, the troupe can enter them to suppress their bad intentions. your person will enable them to face the dangers of these places, thus eliminating the corruption that lies in the hearts of adults.

Sky-High Survival – Next Level Vol.1
Sky High Survival – Next level is a manga by Tsuina Miura, drawn by Takahiro Oba. It takes the same universe Sky high survival and takes place after the events of the latter. A Game Boy dreams of becoming an astronaut, Senya, and is drawn to the appearance of a huge tower. He is then teleported to a skyscraper that is connected to others by bridges. When he sees a young girl jumping off a building and falling to the ground in the distance, he avoids a masked person who wants to see her dead.

1985: visitors is a comic by Mark Millar and illustrated by Tommy Lee Edwards, originally released in 2009. Toby Goodman is a teenager who has lived alone with his father since his divorce. He escapes his bleak life through comics and their characters he dreams of meeting. One day he realizes that the villains of those comics have invaded the earth. Only his deep knowledge of superheroes will be able to repel the threat to humanity.

Star Wars 2
Star Wars 2 is a comic book written by Charles Soule and Greg Pak and drawn by Jesus Saiz. It takes place shortly after the events of the 1980 film, The Empire Strikes Back. If Luke Skywalker escaped Darth Vader when he found out he was his father, he will investigate those who made his son an enemy.

Life is Strange – Volume 2
Life is strange is a comic by Emma Vieceli, drawn by Claudia Leonardi. It takes place after the events that took place in the game of the same name. Max and Chloe fled Arcadia Bay and settled in Seattle to start their lives over. When she stops traveling back in time, Max will be plagued by various hallucinations and paranormal phenomena. To answer the remaining questions, the two teenagers decide to return to Arcadia Bay.

Blade Runner 2019 – Volume 2
Blade Runner 2019 is a comic book by Mike Johnson and Michael Green, illustrated by Andres Guinaldo. It is inspired by the novel by Philipe K. Dick (Minority report, among other) Do androids dream of electric sheep?. Ash is a Blades Runner, a special unit tasked with eliminating the Replicants, artificially created beings very similar to humans, but whose rebellion has endangered humanity.

Batman Arkham: Double Face
Batman Arkham: Double Face is a comic from Urban Comics. This is the first in a series dedicated to the antagonists of the universe. It portrays Harvey Dent, a former Gotham District Attorney who works for the good of the city. During an affair, he is sprayed with acid, disfigured and half insane. Therefore, he no longer has faith in justice. He gets his nickname from the coin he always carries with him and with which he solves his affairs with a toss or tail.
