The Joker is said to be one of the best-known villains from the DC universe and will enter Beat'em-Up Mortal Kombat 11. As of January 28, 2020, Batman adversary Joker is known to be honoring the game as part of the current Kombat Pack, but NetherRealm has so far been stingy with details and impressions. That has finally changed!
After a trailer about the new character had been hinted at several times via social media, it was finally released today. Together with publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the creators are showing the joker in action for the first time in a beating game.
The release date for the new protagonist only applies to holders of the Kombat Pack; the fighter is only available individually later. If you own the Kombat Pack, you will also get some new character skins with a DC theme on the same day, including Geras as "Time Lord of Apokolips" or Noob Saibot as "Darkest Knight". Baraka mutates to "Killer Kroc" and Kitana becomes "Katwoman of Outworld".
Ahead of the character release, there will be a new tower event in the game from January 23-27 to celebrate the Chinese New Year. In addition, the Kombat League is going into its seventh ranking season until February 11th.
