With the introduction of Motorola Edge Plus, the company will launch a new high-end smartphone, and Motorola Edge will bring its slightly streamlined version to the market.
However, there is a trap: in May, only the small Motorola Edge can be purchased in Germany for about 600 euros, and potential buyers in Germany will not need Edge Plus. What these two phones have in common is that they have a specially curved waterfall display with a 90-degree bend and a fast 5G connection.
Motorola Edge Plus
Like the regular Edge, the Motorola Edge Plus has a 6.7-inch OLED display with Full HD Plus resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. However, the processor used for the more expensive model is the Snapdragon 856 processor, and 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of device memory are also installed.
The integrated battery can hold 5,000 mAh, and can also be charged wirelessly. In addition, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.1 and headphone jacks are installed. The main camera provides three lenses: the resolution of the wide-angle sensor is 108 megapixels, the resolution of the main sensor is 16 megapixels, and the resolution of the telephoto lens is 8 megapixels. Built-in optical image stabilization function, you can take photos without blur. Edge Plus can record up to 6K resolution video. The front camera can take 25 megapixel photos. The device is priced at $ 999 in other countries.
Motorola Edge
Motorola Edge will also be available in black in Germany in May. The price of the new model phone is 599.99 euros. Snapdragon 765 is used for the processor, just like Snapdragon 865 provides 5G connection. In addition, the capacity of Motorola Edge with 6 GB of workload and 128 GB of device memory is slightly lower than Edge Plus.
The integrated battery provides 4,500 mAh and does not have the QI function. In addition to Bluetooth 5 and NFC, stereo speakers and headphone jacks are also installed. The triple camera on the back can take up to 64 megapixel photos, and the front camera can take 25 megapixel selfies. You can record video in 4K, but you can only record 30 frames per second.
