Netflix’s major catalog updates for May. As usual, the SVOD platform offers you a whole range of new productions between films, series and animes. We share with you a selection of the programs not to be missed in the coming weeks.
Castlevania – Last season
Netflix’s hit series Castlevania, which was carried over from the popular video game franchise, will air its final episodes with Trevor Belmont and friends. This new season will be divided into ten episodes. As a reminder, the story begins when the monster and vampire hunter, with the help of the magician Sypha Belnades and Dracula’s own son Alucard, contradicts the terror unleashed by Vlad Dracula Tepes. According to Variety and Deadline Media, Netflix is currently working on a Castlevania spin-off series that will highlight new characters. A rumor still waiting to be confirmed.

The woman at the window
The woman at the window will tell the story of AJ Finn’s book, which vaguely recalls one particular one Window on the courtyard by Alfred Hitchcock. In this thriller, Amy Adams will play an agoraphobic who believes she witnessed the murder of her new neighbor across the street as she watched the outside world from her window. We can also count on the presence of Julianne Moore at the casting (Still Alice, the great Lebowski), Wyatt Russel (Falcon and the winter soldier), Gary Oldman (The fifth element, the dark knight), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta, bullet train), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Atypical, the hateful eight) and Anthony Mackie (Million dollar baby, Captain America). This is the second collaboration between Gary Oldman and Joe Wright Dark hours.

Love, Death Robots – Season 2
David Fincher and Tim Miller’s science fiction anthology is back for a second season. This time the South Korean Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Darkest Minds: Rebellion, Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3) joined the production and production team. Army of the Dead

Created by Justin Leach (Spirit in the shell 2) and directed by Yasuhiro Irie (Full metal alchemist), Eden is a family series featuring the first fully Japanese anime to be called Netflix. In a world inhabited by robots, two of them, A37 (Kyoko Hikami) and E92 (Kentaro Ito), come across a cryogenic capsule that contains a young human child named Sara (Marika Kono). However, it’s been so long since humans went missing that most machines consider them a simple legend. They then decide to secretly raise the girl until adulthood. Note that Netflix is hoping to release no fewer than 40 new original anime titles in 2021.
