Stalker 2 – New Trailer Reveals More Gameplay Details
These new details are in the trailer
Zakhar Bokharov from the Ukrainian development studio explains some new functions and features in the trailer that we have not seen before.
weapons: In Stalker 2 you can upgrade your shooting club with new modifications and other upgrades. You don’t have to switch to the inventory to do this, you can put it on your current weapon directly from the game world. Such a system is already known from Apex Legends, among others.
New faction: In the previously published gameplay trailer, hints of a new faction should be hidden somewhere. The developer does not want to reveal which it is.
Alte Locations: The gameplay trailer showed a scene that took place in a swamp. The watchtower shown here is said to be the same one that serial veterans already know from Stalker: Clear Sky. You can watch the fight from back then here for comparison:

Characters: There should be tons of interesting characters in the zone, each with their own fate and backstory. The developers cite the dancing man from the trailer as an example. His hiding place is said to be in the city of Chernobyl, not far from Pripyat. For facial animations that are as realistic as possible, the actors’ facial expressions are captured using photogrammetry.
Artifacts: Hunting down anomalies and artifacts has always been an important part of stalker games. In Stalker 2 you get a new tool for this, which is called Hilka because of its shape – that is Ukrainian and means branch. The blue artifact that the player finds in the trailer is called Jelly and recharges the stamina.
