System-wide handwriting conversion
Some iPad's note-taking applications can already convert handwritten text to machine text. In iOS 14, OCR functionality can now be introduced system-wide and can also be used in apps like Notes, Mail, or Calendar. That will make smart pens more versatile.
iOS 14 can further integrate Apple Pencil into the system and make it more versatile. According to the website MacRumors, the new operating system may receive "optical character recognition" or OCR for short. This automatically converts handwritten text to machine text. Some note-taking applications [such as Notability] already master this feature.
However, in iOS 14, the feature should be used in all applications. If you click on a text input field in the application using Apple Pencil, a floating input field will appear where you can write with the pen. The handwritten content is then automatically converted into machine text. This should work for all pre-installed applications such as notes, mail, calendar or reminders. Apple should also make new features available to developers through the PencilKit interface. Therefore, they can also integrate the function in any third-party application.

Better mouse support
With iOS 13, Apple created the possibility to use a mouse to control an iPhone or iPad. However, the feature is hidden in accessibility and is very limited and cannot be right-clicked. 9to5Mac reports that it will now be different in upcoming operating system updates. The mouse should work fine in the future and work fine on a Mac. Gestures should also be supported, such as right-clicking.
iOS 14 certainly brings some more useful features. Apple is said to be developing its own fitness app that provides you with video instructions for various physical exercises. In addition, code snippets in the new operating system show that the Apple Watch can quickly measure oxygen levels in the blood.
