The name of the Star Wars game by EA Motive is said to have leaked from an entry on the European Playstation Network that is no longer accessible. The title should "Project Maverick" are called and according to Kotaku actually correspond to the "smaller and somewhat unusual project" at the studio that has not yet been officially presented.
What is Star Wars: Maverick?
Jason Schreier, who is known for his insider knowledge in the industry, confirms the information below the tweet about the leaked picture:

It has long been known that EA Motive is currently working on a Star Wars game, although no official announcement has yet been made. The situation is similar with the successor to Jedi: Fallen Order.
Although this has not yet been confirmed, it is very likely due to the success of the predecessor. Recently, we also reported a spin-off on Star Wars: Battlefront that has been quietly discontinued.
A detailed product description is missing and not much can be seen from the picture. Colleague and Star Wars expert Fabiano still summarizes his thoughts on the leak for you:

@StillAdronySo far, of course, we can only speculate what Star Wars: Maverick is about. However, there are a few clues that help with the classification. For example, we can use the star destroyer shown to determine in which epoch the game will take place. It is quite clearly a ship of the Imperator class.
So a battleship the Galactic Empire. You can also see X-Wings underneath, which of course also belong to the original trilogy. Accordingly, the story either focuses on the classic trilogy, or takes place in the years between episode 3 and episode 4. The lettering could also be an indication, because it is very stylistically reminiscent of the logo of Solo: A Star Wars Story, where it was about the young years of the smuggler.
There is even less tangible information about the term Maverick itself. Except for a children's book from 1979, there is still no specific connection to this term or name in the Star Wars canon.
