Phasmophobia has captivated worldwide players, becoming one of the indies of the moment both on Steam and on Twitch. It is currently in the Early Access phase in the Valve store, and its creator, Dknighter, has been in charge of outlining future plans for the game.
While before he thought to add more equipment and ghosts from time to time, now he values the possibility of raising much larger updates
Phasmophobia: Your future plans
“I was originally planning for early access to be short.”says Dknighter, the sole developer of Kinetic Games, in an interview with IGN.
In this way, his initial plan was simply to “add a few different map types, ghost types, and equipment”. But this idea has changed: “However, due to the popularity of the game, everyone’s expectations have risen, so I will have to reconsider my plans for the future of the game“.
Unfortunately, Dknighter hasn’t shed much light on the content that may stem from these larger updates, but the game already advertises that you’re ready to receive “much more content” on your Steam page
Phasmophobia enjoy more content in the future
At this time there is no announced release date for the full game, but it points to it occurring in to 2021
The title has just received an update that is focused on fixing technical bugs, which is the facet that Dknighter is working on at the moment. “After I fix these bugs, the next content will probably arrive together in big updates.”, confirmed.
