The Map Hardhat returns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. That already revealed the roadmap for the start of Season 3. According to Infinity Ward's co-design director, Joe Cecot, it could already be this week – he replied when asked that Hardhat should appear with a "mid-season update".

Since the 3rd season is scheduled to end in early June, this update should be in the course of the week queue. An exact date or the download size has not yet been announced. The latest update was 1.20 with a full 32GB for the PC version.
The next update could be smaller, but Modern Warfare is still extremely hungry for space, it is currently the thickest PC game ever. The developers explained why this is so:

The compact hardhat map already appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and was very popular there. It consists of a construction site with various unfinished buildings and numerous constrictions, perfect for tactics fans. A little reminder of what it looked like almost ten years ago:

Another point from the Season 3 roadmap was recently ticked off: The announced new weapon turned out to be Bruen MK9 LMG, behind which the well-known LMG M249 SAW is hidden. The weapon is extremely strong at the moment, especially with the right attachment combination.
Even if many players are looking forward to the return of Hardhat, another playlist is currently in focus: 10v10 Shipment causes absolute chaos and that is exactly what the fans celebrate. In general, Infinity Ward seems to suit the taste of many players, after all, Modern Warfare is now officially the most successful CoD ever.
