Genshin Impact 1.2 – Update Trailer introduces the new area and characters

The preload is 7 GB and prepares you for the new content. Along with this, the developer published the complete patch notes. The Drachengrat area
The biggest change in Update 1.2 is the first map expansion from Genshin Impact. In the course of a new story quest you end up in the snowy mountainse from Drachengrat.
New enemy types: Here you will of course meet new opponents. These are mainly new ice versions of the already known opponents such as Hilichurls or Fatui magicians.
Survival mechanics: There is also a new game mechanic. Because you have to be careful here not to freeze to death. Accordingly, you always have to look for new sources of heat and use them to heat yourself up.

What can the newcomers do?
You will receive the new characters again through the prayers. Albedo will be available first in the banner. Accordingly, you will probably be able to use it directly for the release on December 23, 2020. Ganyu follows a little later.
Albedo – The Alchemist

Ganyu – ambassador of the Qixing

Minor innovations

In addition, the photo mode has been improved and some adjustments have been made to the user interface in connection with the domains.
