COVID-19 is still well present and this has caused many events to be canceled, for example E3 2020. Technology companies have also been affected, which is why Razer has decided to help several business partners contributing up to 50 million dollars (about 45 million euros). The purpose of this contribution is to help them overcome the negative impact caused by the virus.
According to Razer, this initiative will provide companies access to the brand ecosystem, such as hardware, software and services. This will make a positive business impact possible through partnerships and alliances. For this they will rely on Razer Gold, Razer Fintech and zVentures.
In the words of Razer CEO and co-founder Min-Liang Tan: There are many growing implications due to the impact of COVID-19 on the global economy, being something that is affecting everyone. We see that the best way to support on our part is to help our business partners from our ecosystem.
The brand ensures that all business partners will be able to maintain a solid position in the market despite the COVID-19. Finally, special mention to zVentures, a group of Razer corporate companies. All of their investment efforts will be focused on companies with technology that serves to combat COVID-19. These companies include some from sectors such as food, beverages and medical care.
