Retro Studios works at Metroid Prime 4, a restarted project, but years ago there would have been explored several canceled games including titles related to The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario.
Shinesparkers this rumor has been echoed with the artist's conceptual art Sammy Hall, a former pre-production artist from Retro Studios who participated in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Donkey Kong Country Returns. One of his works would belong to the preproduction of a "canceled Zelda project" starring Sheik that was running between 2005 and 2008
The other game belongs to a "Boo canceled project" between 2006 and 2007, and although there are hardly any details, one of the illustrations mentions small laptop resolutions, which suggests it was intended for the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo laptop in those years.
Metroid Prime 4 It was announced in 2017 after many rumors. There was no mention of the creative team – it has been commented that it could be a Bandai Namco team – but I do know that it was not Retro Studios. A year ago and with no official footage shown, Nintendo announced that the original creators of Metroid Prime
