The Finnish developer Housemarque agreed with publisher Sony to postpone the release, according to the said tweet. Returnal is designed as a third-person shooter that is supposed to take up rogue-like elements and will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5. Previously, the developers gained notoriety through creative indie titles such as Resogun and Matterfall. If you ever want to take a look at Returnal, you can do so in the trailer – it already shows a lot of gameplay scenes.
