As of today, March 24th, the 15.5 GB title update 2.0.0 for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, including episode 2 »Deep State«, is available. This brings a new story in which Splinter Cells Sam Fisher also appears. In a total of eight new stealth missions, you'll team up with him to uncover a plot of mind-controlled drones. This trailer gives a foretaste of this:
This is still in Update 2.0.0
With the title update come new maps, new missions and the two new classes Echeleon and engineer. They are available for both PvP and PvE, and holders of the Year 1 Pass will have free access to them for a week starting March 24th.
With "The Ghost Experience" there is also a new game mode that is free for everyone. You can choose between predefined settings or determine the parameters yourself – for example, you can choose whether you want to keep equipment levels or prefer an "immersive" experience in which these levels and loot items with ranks are removed.
All information about the update can be found in the very detailed patch notes for TU 2.0.0. There you will also find a list of known problems.
However, not all players are happy with the announcement. In the comments below Announcement tweet from Ghost Recon most make it clear that they would have been more happy about a full-fledged Splinter Cell. Some interpret the new appearance of Sam Fisher quite optimistically as a teaser for an announcement in the foreseeable future.
