Midwinter Entertainment with impossible Already announced Scavenger, The connected multiplayer shooter game will arrive in Early Access on PC on April 28th.
The post-apocalyptic survival shooter forces players to work together and fight each other to survive in the harsh winter world. Developers refer to the strange combination of PvP and cooperatives as “cooperative competition.”
The game is played in an abandoned, hostile sci-fi world, and it uses both the environment and hostile AI to force you to cooperate with other players-just open them in the blink of an eye when a situation arises to survive.
If you want to join the early access version, you will have to go through some troubles. Collaborating with Twitch to arrange the “early access” launch, so if you want to be ahead of anyone else, you need to try to ensure a limited time Twitch Drops during the event.
According to the press release, new players can play Scavenger in Early Access by watching the Scavenger Twitch stream and following the steps below:
- Create an impossible game account and associate it with their Twitch account
- Watch 30 minutes of scavenger video stream
- After receiving the Twitch Drop, you will receive an email containing the Scavenger Steam key, and you can start the game.
Josh Holmes, former Halo developer, CEO and co-founder of Midwinter Entertainment, said: “Starting our Early Access with Twitch will provide new fans with a way to learn about scavengers from the community.”

The Early Access limited-time sweepstakes will start on April 28 at 12 AM Pacific Standard Time / 3 AM Eastern Standard Time / 8 AM U.S. Summer Time, although Midwinter has indicated that it intends to open Early Access more widely thereafter.
Scavengers (Scavengers) will be released on PC in 2021, after which there will be game consoles.
