- Method 1: Withdraw Skype Points-Automatic Refund
- Method 2: Redeem Skype Credit-Manual Application
Skype used to be a free alternative to calling, but now it's just one of many providers. When it comes to free calls, most users like to use WhatsApp and Co. The possibility of paying for regular telephone calls via Skype should also be used by only a few users. If you want to withdraw your Skype credit from your account due to lack of use, this can be done in some cases. According to the company, Skype credit refunds can be granted:
- -Unused and not expired subscriptions.
- -Unused Skype Points, refunds requested within 14 days of purchase [EU customers only].
- -We categorize Skype as wrong technical issue.
- -Fraudulent use when we find that your account has been taken over by a third party.
- -If you contact us within 90 days of purchase, the change was made by mistake. Debit amounts over 90 days ago are non-refundable.
Except for the 14-day withdrawal period for online purchases required by EU law, refunds are at Skype's sole discretion. How the company does this is unclear, so you should simply try your luck. There are two methods you can use to refund your Skype credit. If the first automatic refund method does not work, try Method 2.
