The shooter Terminator: Resistance has been available for a little over a year. In the future, this should also make the next-gen PS5 console unsafe.
Like many other games for PS4 and Xbox One, the shooter Terminator: Resistance, which has been available since November last year, makes the leap to the new consoles – at least in one case. Reef Entertainment has now announced a corresponding upgrade version for Sony’s PlayStation 5. The Xbox Series X / S is not (yet) mentioned.
For the PS5, Terminator: Resistance Enhanced will be released next year. This is a fundamentally optimized game version of the shooter, which then relies on improved frame rates and graphics. Among other things, you can look forward to 60 fps with a real 4K resolution. In addition, “new features” will be introduced that make use of the new DualSense controller.
Prepare for an upgrade 🦾
We’re pleased to announce that TERMINATOR: RESISTANCE – ENHANCED will be coming to PlayStation 5 on March 26th, 2021!

The Enhanced Edition will also receive all previous balance updates and other enhancements previously released on PC. This is how the infiltrator mode comes to the PS5, in which you can control one of the deadly cyborgs yourself.
While the PS5 version will be available from March 26, 2021, a new paid DLC for PS5 and PC will be released in summer 2021. This will then have new narrative content to offer, but details are still pending.
Players on PS4 and Xbox One should at least receive another update in the first quarter of 2021, which will bring some technical optimizations and adjustments to the level of difficulty. And: if you own the PS4 version and have switched to the PS5 in the meantime, you will receive the upgrade to the enhanced version free of charge.
