In a recent interview with Comic bookAllan comments on how Ciri's powers are, how he activates them and how in the future he could control them. Apparently, these skills are manifested by the fear that Ciri faces in some situation.
«I think Ciri doesn't seem to see her as an opportunity. I think it arises out of pure fear, and it happens that it allows her to be protected in some way, but I think she didn't necessarily see it as something that protects her. It's quite dark and scary, because he doesn't know how to control it. It has been a secret that has clearly been hidden from her and that scares her, she thinks: What else is hidden from me? What else has my family hidden from me all this time? And also, such a great power that you can't control, he worries that he could hurt people he didn't want to hurt. And also, it makes her feel isolated, because she knows it's special. I don't think I necessarily want to be special. He just wants to be back to the way he was before. And I think because of her, she didn't see it as an opportunity. But, looking at him as an actor, and where the trip could go, well, I think it definitely could be.
