Genshin Impact gives you another character in the current event, Fischl.
But just because a character is free doesn’t mean it’s bad. Quite the opposite: Fischl can with the right build get really strong. We’ll tell you how to do it.
What can Fischl do?
First of all, there is a quick overview of what Fischl can do and what skills she can use in combat.
- Rarity: 4 stars
- Weapon: The book
- Element: Electro
- Elementarskill: Summons the raven Oz, who deals electrical damage to a small area.
- Elementburst: Fischl transforms into Oz, is faster, and deals electrical damage.
Build as a supporter or DPS
You can add Fischl to your team either as a supporter or as a pure damage dealer. However, depending on what you choose, you have to customize your equipment.
Since the following builds are primarily aimed at Free2Play players, we refrain from listing the rare 5-star weapons that are only available via gacha, but prefer specifically playable or at least very common items.
- Best values: Percentage bonus on electrical damage, elementary mastery, percentage bonus on attack, recharge rate
- Weapon: Rusty bow / Favonius hunting bow / The sinews
- Artefaktset: Thundering Wrath (Midsummer Court)
How your supporter plays: With your support build, you rely entirely on Fischl’s electrical damage and swap them out when your skills are just waning. In addition to the obvious bonus on electrical damage, it is therefore also worth increasing the elementary mastery and the charging rate.
This is what the artifacts bring: An artifact set consisting of four parts “Thundering Wrath” not only increases your electrical damage, but also associated elementary reactions such as “Overcharged”, “Under current” and “Superconductor”. As a bonus, it also reduces your cooldown time, which allows you to use Fischl’s abilities more often.
- Best values: Crit damage, crit chance, percentage bonus on attack
- Weapon: Compoundbogen (Schmied)
- Artefaktset: Gladiator (meeting with storm terror), Berserker (meeting with storm terror)
How to play Damage Dealer: As a damage dealer, you should most likely focus on increasing your attack as well as your physical damage. Because most of the time, Fischl will not cause any electrical damage. There are better options as a weapon than the compound bow, but you can make it specifically at the blacksmith’s shop and have therefore not been dependent on luck.
This is what the artifacts bring: You should equip at least two parts of the two artifact sets Gladiator and Berserker in order to receive the set bonus. You can also exchange the latter for “Bloody Path of a Knight”, “Heroism” or “Wanderlust” if your crit chance is around 70 percent.
