When it comes to rumors of unannounced games being touted within the studios as being under development, there are several ways the studios can respond. Most of the time, they completely ignore the rumor. Very rarely do they confirm the information. And sometimes they deny the rumor. This is the third case in question today.

A few days ago Jeff Grubb, the American journalist from VentureBeat who is known for his shovels, stated during one electricity
But it’s especially the third game currently in the works at The Coalition that made the talk. If Jeff Grubb immediately states that there is a good chance this game conforms to a new license, he also states that he heard rumors that it might be a Star Wars game. In order to nip the rumor in the bud, a member of the coalition intervened Reddit
Just to sort out the Star Wars thing.
We are not working on such a title. We have nothing else to announce the current time.
The secret remains whole
That the studio is reacting in this way seems to indicate that this rumor bothers him. While it is not uncommon for studios and publishers to later decline confirmed information, this statement still needs to be considered. Officially, there is no Star Wars game in development within The Coalition.
While the many false rejections from video game companies are suspect, it still cannot be ruled out that The Coalition is not working on a Star Wars game. According to other rumors, the third title currently in the works in the studio’s Vancouver offices is a smaller experimental game that aims to give developers the chance to get their hands on Unreal Engine 5.
As always with such rumors, it’s important to take all of these things with a grain of salt. With the coalition cutting out their work for them, their next title may not be revealed for a while.
