This Wednesday June 2nd, Sony announced more details on PlayStation Studios’ future plans. In the 25 games in development, we know there’s going to be something new to come from the parents of Days Gone.

Once again it is Hermen Hulst who in her question-and-answer session on the PlayStation blog, explained what Bend Studios expects in the future. The director of PlayStation Studios gave an idea of what to expect.
Right now, Bend Studio is working hard on a very promising new franchise. The team leverages the burgeoning open-world mechanics it developed for Days Gone. I am passionate about Bend Studio.

For those who still had hopes that Deacon St. John and his big bike had the hope of returning soon, it’s done. At least for now. A Bloomberg article revealed that Days Gone 2 was proposed and rejected by Sony, which former Oregon studio staff neither did. In early May, a job posting indicated that the new project would be an AAA project. It’s easy to imagine that this will be exclusive to the PS5. It remains to be seen when it will be shown. And if it doesn’t take too long compared to the expectations of the players, who are already a bit confused, that they will not see the next God of War until 2022.
