In the latest issue of Immortal Hulk, there is a clear reference to The Simpsons, turning them into comic characters. In one of his vignettes, written by Alul Ewing and Joe Bennett, the villain Xemnu tries to manipulate the population into believing that the Hulk is the real threat.
