The Summer Game Fest of Geoff Keighley begins to show his cards. The event, the closest thing to an E3 we will have this year, has unveiled its first draft of that series of events that will kick off tomorrow with the Inside Xbox of Xbox Series X.
The calendar, still in the process of closing appointments and events, will enjoy its first big surprise next May 12
Summer Game Fest dates and times
May
- May 7 at 5:00 p.m. Inside Xbox dedicated to third party Xbox Series X games.
- May 12 at 6:00 p.m. a new game will be presented yet to be revealed.
June
- June 9 to 14: Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition, a new edition of the festival dedicated to publishing limited demos on Steam.
- 11th of June: Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Live by CD Projekt RED
- June 12 at 01:00 a.m. EA Play Live 2020, the event that EA holds annually alongside E3.
July
- July 11: Warframe presentation that will discuss the future plans of the game.
August
- August 24 at 8:00 p.m. Opening Night Live, the Geoff Keighley event that normally closes Gamescom.
Waiting to see what other companies join the party Keighley, I see little chicha to hold on to and I expected a much more ambitious panorama.
Ok to a Inside Xbox that was already there, a EA Play you don't miss your annual appointment and a Opening Night Live which we are also used to. The rest? Well, we will have to see what the surprise is next week, but otherwise it does not seem that it will revolutionize the summer. Let's see if over the days it offers a somewhat more hopeful face.
