Rank 10: cube life: island survival (minecraft)
C.lever: A few months before Minecraft was released on Nintendo's Wii U, developer Cypronia released Cube Life: Island Survival. The look is very similar to that of Minecraft. The structure of the inventory and the production of objects are also strongly reminiscent of the sandbox hit from Mojang. In contrast to Minecraft, the game world in Cube Life is not generated by chance, but is designed by hand. The plan worked: The abstinence from Minecraft on the Wii U catapulted Cube Life: Island Survival to the top of the eShop charts. The title is now also available for smartphones and the PC.
