Already at the end of last year there were rumors that Activision could bring back the once so famous Tony Hawk series – and now these speculations are getting new food, from a rather unexpected corner. With The Death Set a punk band is now causing new rumors.
The band said on Facebook for a short time that they had licensed a number of their own songs for the "Tony Hawk 2020 game", which could be heard in the title. Only: Activision has not officially announced such a game yet.
New Tony Hawk Pro Skater game inbound!

The relevant contribution was recorded by YouTuber TheNathanNS for future safety; a corresponding screenshot continues to circulate on Twitter. The band itself has noticed the premature announcement in the meantime and has taken it off the net again. According to the article, however, five songs can be heard in the previously unannounced new serial branch.
Skateboard fans should make the supposed comeback of the series quite happy. The last part was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 and dates from 2015. Until the publisher himself officially confirms it, genre fans can initially concentrate on alternatives such as Session or Skater XL.
