Game developers Ubisoft Australia and Bunge have joined more and more studios, promising to fund Australian wildfire relief.
To date, Ubisoft Australia has donated $ 30,000 to the Australian Red Cross Disaster and Recovery Relief Fund.
Ubisoft Australia stated on Twitter that donating directly to the Australian Red Cross is the fastest way to help people affected by the fire, despite players asking for fundraising in the game.
The company wrote: "The jungle fire crisis has destroyed communities across the country and the loss scene is heartbreaking."
"We heard calls asking us to create in-game items to encourage donations, but this took a lot of development time, and we thought we needed to take immediate action."
