If you are fans of League of Legends you will surely have been on the track for Valorant for several months, the new game from Riot Games, the creators of the well-known MOBA that does not stop breaking records of all kinds.
The studio's next project is a long way from the LOL style, focusing, this time, on a shooter influenced by Overwatch and Counter Strike. For now Valorant is confirmed for PC only
"Our focus right now is on PC (…) we are open to explore new opportunities for other platforms, but for the moment, our current focus is on the PC platform"
This can be translated as that, for now, they will use the PC as a test bench for the feedback of people for, when the time comes, if Valorant reaps a reasonable success, consider porting the game to the other platforms.
Knowing Riot Games and knowing that almost everything they touch makes it a success, it does not look like it takes too long to see this shooter in the most important video game consoles on the market. For now we do not have a confirmed date for its launch on PC but it is expected, except for unexpected delays, that we have it before the end of this year 2020.
