Blizzard now offers automatic refunds for players who are disappointed with the recently released Warcraft 3: Recast.
Although Blizzard has not yet made a formal statement on the matter, the company is currently offering an instant refund of the remastered version of Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos via Battle.net.
Fans on the official subreddit said that Blizzard's support is refundable no matter how much time players spend on the game. A forum user krOnicLTD played "Warcraft 3: Remake" for more than five hours, but still got a refund without any problems. Other users have similarly stated that refunds via automatic forms are instant.
"Warcraft 3: Recast" was released to PC last week and has not been welcomed by fans. The game's main subreddit and Blizzard's own forums are full of negative topics and complaints from deceived players-partly because the quality of the finished product is comparable to what Blizzard showed at the 2018 BlizzCon's rem aster show. With clearer art and updated models compared to the original version, they have not been superimposed on the 2018 release.
In addition, custom campaigns created for the original campaign are not compatible with Recast, and players cannot create their own campaigns. Remastering also removed other long-standing features such as team support and competitive games.
Since then, the game has the lowest user rating game on Metacritic with a review rating of 0.5. In contrast, critics are more friendly. As of press time, its critics' Metacritic score remained at 61.
And there is at least one fan among us.
