On June 1, 2021, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic was the first add-on for WoW Classic. Most players are currently busy fighting their way through the different regions of Outland, completing dungeons and leveling their characters to the new maximum level 70.

In the early morning hours of June 3, 2021 the time had come: The European guild from the server Firemaw was the first to successfully complete the raid, which is still extremely popular with many fans, with »Karazhan« – and thus secured the so-called »World First«.

With the original release of Burning Crusade in 2007, it took a lot longer: At that time the professional guild Method needed twelve days for Karazhan, 19 for Gruul and 40 days for Magtheridon.
How does it go so fast?
If you have just started Burning Crusade Classic yourself, it is very likely that you will still be busy leveling up your character.
In order to reach the maximum level of 70 in record time, the players of the hardcore guilds used a few tricks: You started with a bulging quest log in the new expansion, so that you had an XP head start immediately after completing the quests.
Then they used what is known as dungeon spamming: In groups of five, the guildmates went through the same instances over and over again, in which they concentrated all monsters and then decimated them with area damage spells.
