A laptop or tablet can easily be used as the second screen under Windows 10. Many homes have a large number of devices with their own displays, some of which are older and can be used productively in this way. You can never really have enough display space for productive work. So why not use your laptop as another desktop? For newer laptops, convertibles, or tablets with Windows 10, Microsoft's operating system even has corresponding capabilities. Windows 10's built-in Miracast support allows you to stream your screen to a compatible receiving device over WiFi. The desktop can also be easily expanded.
Since newer computers can also be set up as Miracast clients under Windows 10, you can easily use another PC as an additional display in the same WiFi network. However, since this works only between Windows 10 devices and only over WiFi, we will also show you an alternative where you can make a second screen on almost any other device.
